"Report of student from partner university"
I learned about biped humanoid robot. I was tasked to perform some gait tuning of a kondo robot into performing simple walking and other motions. The main goal of the project was to allow the personal constructed pcb board that a senior in TDU manufacture to store gaits of the robot. The next goal would be to perform the motion when the robot is about to fall as to minimize the damage to the actuator.
Life in TDU was really fun. As this was my first time in Japan, everything was new and an adventure to me. The most fun part was hanging out with friends from TDU, learning the culture in Japan and trying out all the new food. Given the chance to be under Ishikawa Sensei was also a really great experience and fun part of my stay as I got to learn lots of new things and experience the culture first hand. Nevertheless my stay was only about a month and the hardest part of it was when I was about to say goodbye to everyone.
Immerse in the rich culture and learn as much things as possible while having fun.
